I’m a writer, editor and multimedia producer who’s bounced around Philly, New York, Latin America and the Bay Area.

Before moving to California in 2008, I was the senior arts & entertainment and online editor at Philadelphia Weekly, where I wrote cover stories, features, and a news/urban culture column called “Straight Cupcakes.” I’ve also written for Fader, Black Book, and Dazed & Confused magazines. This past summer I interned at The Washington Post, where I wrote TV, music, sports and politics features for the Style desk.

I recently finished the master’s program in TV/video, photo and multimedia reporting at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
